Financial resources are local and online resources related to Financial literary. Financial literacy is defined as, "having the knowledge and understanding necessary to make informed fiscal/economic decisions for personal life planning and business interests including responsible budgeting, spending and saving skills."

  • The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) and U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has made a Fuel Economy Guide, that gets updated weekly, to provide consumers with information about fuel economy and the benefits of using more fuel efficient vehicles.

  • Keystone Scholars is Pennsylvania’s investment in your baby’s bright future. PA Treasury is investing $100 for every baby born to or adopted by a PA family after December 31, 2018 to families to be used for the baby’s future higher education expenses. A child with education savings is three times more likely to enroll in a two- or four-year college and four times more likely to graduate. The $100 will be invested by the PA Treasury Department and will grow through the years right alongside your child. Your Keystone Scholars account can be used for qualified expenses when your child pursues higher education.

  • VITA is a nationwide organization regulated by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) that offers free tax help to people who make less than $56,844 per year. Since 2008, students, faculty, and alumni of the Fox School’s Department of Accounting have assisted low-income members of the Philadelphia community by filing their income-tax returns for free through Temple University’s VITA program, based on Temple’s Ambler Campus. Due to the Coronavirus, they are running the VITA program virtually this year. Clients will, however, have the opportunity to interact with the preparers and reviewers via Zoom or by telephone.
