Event and Organization Spotlight: Atypically Amazing Children

Parenting is undoubtedly challenging, often with no breaks in sight. We all strive to provide the best for our children and grandchildren, nurturing their growth and development. However, some children may require a bit more attention, time, or assistance. That’s where our Saturday Atypically Amazing Children’s class for autistic children comes in.

This class focuses on a month-long theme, culminating in a special activity on the final Saturday. For instance, in September, the theme was apple picking. Throughout the month, children and their families engaged in games and crafts to explore the concept of apple picking. Finally, on the last Saturday, everyone went apple picking together. What a delightful experience!

This program allows your child to first learn about an activity and then participate in it, making it easier to handle potentially overwhelming situations with the right support. As a parent, witnessing this accomplishment is truly rewarding, just like the program itself.

Feel free to give it a try—if it doesn’t suit your needs, there’s no pressure and nothing to lose.
